Saturation Point Of Megapixels In 35mm Cameras
Dominica - Day 1
Last Thursday it finally went from Pointe-à-Pitre on the ferry to Dominica. Since we took the first bus and this is unfortunately arrived a little later than planned, we were at the port of first total in a hurry and climbed as, without exaggeration, the very last ferry. The captain was apparently angry because he drove so fast and choppy then, that the ferry fun already about 10 minutes later and two anti-motion sickness pills was late for us to our past and nausea nothing helped except eyes, music to and through.
arrived in Dominica now we were waiting on the couch surfers, you should pick us. We waited 10 minutes, 20 minutes, 30 minutes .... sometime We were restless and decided first by bus to the capital Roseau to drive, to search for an internet cafe there, so we are all couch surfers in the environment can ask for help and there may be to find accommodation.
We have asked it there somehow and after about an hour we had changed the night for a safe place, money, and once sat in the very beautiful "Corner House Cafe in the main street.
We were totally überwältgt from the scene that offered us. Everything was so vivid, the houses were so colorful, all very busy ... we immediately felt like a Hollywood movie, because everything seemed so surreal. It was beautiful.
When we wanted to pay, we met by chance a resident of the couch surfers, Stef, who gave us his number, with which we agreed for the next day. We said our goodbyes and met him about 20 minutes later, when we were on our way to the bus to find a beach outside the city. He took us ado, it's saying, he gave us "a ride", and drove us to a beach of his friend Patrick.
After we had cooled the water a bit, Patrick came to greet us and invite us into his tree house. Sounds crazy, it is, but it's true. Patrick had a multi-storey, with suspension bridges connected tree house in which he not only survived, but also worked.
He invited us to a coconut with rum, which he brought us fresh from the palm and showed us his palace. The plot was really huge, but it unfortunately did something come down because he's just returned from an extended stay with his son in the U.S. and no one cared about the house in time. So we sat there
now, with our "cocktail" in the hand and chatted with him about life in Dominica and his children, who live scattered all over the world. Eventually we had to go unfortunately, as we catch the last bus take in the city had.
In the city we were preparing ourselves for a great night out and made our chic to notice only to find that the city is completely dead at night. Or we just have not found great bars, of course this can be. Almost no one except the homeless, we have encountered.

We were now, as befits educated students of literature, the theater. In Basse-Terre, there is a relatively large theater called "L'Artchipel" by even occur relatively famous artists. The north of Grand Terre
The eastern side of the butterfly must be visited once, we thought. And so we have a spontaneous trip to the north of Grand Terre made. Work was to Port d'Enfer, Port de la Grand Vigie beach and some that we have never seen before.
After a long drive, or should I write methods, we turn down almost over. Such a small thing indeed not easy to find. Although I personally Pointe des Chateaux even more impressive, because you can feel there was the force of the water even more, it was a beautiful place you must visit. It is just beautiful to stay there a bit and melancholy to look on the water. And, believe it or not, there it is so quiet ...
Then we finally Waen at two beaches. First, in Anse Bertrand and a beach that was only suitable for bathing in part, because the water was there decorated with boulders. Looked naturally beautiful out, but I beg of you nature, must it be?

Toast To Father 60th Birthday
Hooray, hooray, the Dina Katherina there now!
Last Thursday is Dina but actually arrived after over 12 hours of travel. The trip was without complications and Dina has survived the Jetlegs too.
had Upon arrival we take the opportunity to jump into the sea at Gosier. What a refreshing dip in the 30 degree "cold" water. Then off to home to eat delicious casserole! Wonderful, even if Dina was on the run-eat, because of fatigue due to nausea.
Since then we have already seen:

- Matouba beautiful as always! Exceptionally real refreshment and a nature experience at first hand.
- Pointe Noire dinner with our friends, including hitchhikers and then relax in the pool snorkeling. Including snorkeling turtle. And to all the doubters I say now time work: Haha! Yes, I swam out as far as never before. And yes, I've felt comfortable. And yes, I am filled with pride.
- Plage de la Grand Anse at Trois-Rivieres. We are not surfing the least (!) Surfed 4 m high waves or washed from them been. Dina is death in 1000 has died and the waves shown a cold shoulder. Are also common to these things. For the bikini there was Kokossorbeet.
- Bains de Chauds Matouba after a total of nearly 4-hour hike, we have determined that the Bains Chauds are worth seeing. There are, honestly speaking, a stinking pool. Do you know the smell of sulfur? For those who have never experienced this smell: it smells like (quote Dina) "Shit!". True to the motto "The journey is the reward" but we are still happy that we have the fun 'times participated. The rain forest is just so beautiful and is worth every second you spend in it.
- full-day trip to Pointe-des-Châteaux and Pointe-des-humming and Plage de la Sainte Anne Pointe-des-Châteaux is the easternmost point of Guadeloupe, where there is the Lookout Pointe-des-humming. From there you can see all the surrounding islands of Guadeloupe and La Désirade, Marie-Galante and Les Saintes. It is simply breathtaking. The must-have seen one! To all who want to visit this island again: Must see! What is even more impressive than the view, are the cliffs. Only there a natural force of the water is really aware of. We could spend all day there and I hope that I get another opportunity to visit this place. It is true there originally. Just water and the cliffs, which are formed by water. There we have also made an incredible number of photos. Sorry, photos can not express how much this place is. It was an incredibly hot day and after that we really wanted at last into the water. Previously we had been thinking want to go to the beach in Sainte-Anne. There we spent the afternoon under a palm tree on the white sandy beach. Of course is nice, but is also the tourist village of Sainte-Anne in Guadeloupe at all. This is accompanied, of course, that there are quite a few over-priced beach bars and it is also mentioned frequently by abdominal shop sales. I personally do not find very pleasant and did not count because of my favorite beaches. Well, here it is just picky. ;)

Presents Stroke Victims
We are not billionaire - but only millionaires ...
The Friday
from Basse-Terre Friday we set off by bus to our great weekend trip to the northern half of our island. The first objective was Deshaies. The last stop was unfortunately Pointe-Noire, 20 km from Deshaies. At first we did not want to admit it and are just stayed so long in the bus until we were kicked out. So there we stood, from a deserted restaurant, at the beginning of nowhere. Brave as we are, we thought spontaneously "Hey, get out your thumb!". Yes, we hitchhiked. Yes, there were fish vendors. Yes, the driver had a gold tooth. But no, it did not stink. And we are even arrived safely.
The beach Plage de la Grand Anse is simply magnifique! It was not crowded and is beautiful. In addition, he is huge and golden sand. A true Caribbean dream beach! There we were in the late afternoon of the two couch surfers, Will Friedman and his wife Berangere picked up and invited her wonderful little house. In a beer bottle was found, that we speak much better French than in our first meeting. The two are simply just great. The Friday
from Basse-Terre Friday we set off by bus to our great weekend trip to the northern half of our island. The first objective was Deshaies. The last stop was unfortunately Pointe-Noire, 20 km from Deshaies. At first we did not want to admit it and are just stayed so long in the bus until we were kicked out. So there we stood, from a deserted restaurant, at the beginning of nowhere. Brave as we are, we thought spontaneously "Hey, get out your thumb!". Yes, we hitchhiked. Yes, there were fish vendors. Yes, the driver had a gold tooth. But no, it did not stink. And we are even arrived safely.
The beach Plage de la Grand Anse is simply magnifique! It was not crowded and is beautiful. In addition, he is huge and golden sand. A true Caribbean dream beach!
